i dreamed that i picked clementines all season night and day, until the farmer spotted me out, chased me waving his 12 gauge, to a reno casino to spend my hard earned pay, on blacks and jacks and panic attacks hoping i’m getting paid, i dreamed that i could buy Einstein’s mind bend time and space, till i would die event horizon line ripped me into place, to a six shooter stand up town wearing boots and wrecking saloons, my women in dresses my enemy dead my triumphs in the tombs, my women in dresses, my enemy dead, dreaming my life dreaming away, dreaming my life dreaming away, i dreamed that i could fly without wings just a colored cape, shoot laser beams from my eyes pull the card and charge the ace, to my bed hanging on the precipice looking down without holding my breath, my fingers are cold my hands are worn but i’ve never been further from death, never been further, never been further, never been further, never been further, dreaming my life dreaming away, dreaming my life dreaming away, dreaming my life dreaming away, i dreamed that could dress up nice have hair that matches the suit, be one of those super important guys holding a briefcase making moves, to a broke bartender running his mouth writing songs that are made of lies, like the story of a fugitive on the farm getting busted stealing clementines
